Time for another activity! If you think about it...photography and art are full of shapes! Look at a image and see how many squares, circles or rectangles are in the scene! This is one way to train your eye to look for shapes which are also part of composition and just ART! Look at the image below...it is simple but yet appealing because of the shapes we see! Our whole world is made up of shapes and until we stand back and look we don't realize it! By simplifying what we see into shapes, it can help us find interested in an image.
Now look at the image below....this one is harder but if you look you can see the shapes. Shapes make an image appealing! And FUN! It is a great exercise to train how we see things! We take the world fro granted but when we look beyond what is right infront of us, a whole new perspective opens up!
This next image is for you! Doorways are super fun because they have so much character! How may triangles rectangles and circles can you see?
For the younger kids that want an activity a little simpler, I have attached another scavenger hunt! Please feel free to share on my facebook page what you find and I hope this opens up a new way to view your world!
Next time we will have a lesson on looking for leading lines!
Have a great week and enjoy your families!
